Yes.. No.. Maybe..

How indecisive are you?

If your answer to that is ‘very’, then be careful. You could be driving your friends nuts! :)

One of my friends is so indecisive, she questions everything to the extent of overkill. “Why do you think he said that? What do you think he’s doing now? Do you think she’ll buy that car?”

Those questions are just a prelude to another set of questions about how she should act/behave. And then, after all that, she ends up doing something completely different than whatever advice you’ve given her!

If you have problems deciding, just think it through in your head. Think of the pros and cons. Put yourself in the other person’s shoe. At the end, most decisions, even if wrong, aren’t fatal. With time, you’ll get better at it!

Hopeless Poet: :) exactly.. and in that poem, he ended up taking the road less travelled.. so he did make a decision.. indecisive people would still be standing there wondering what to do..

It drives me nuts, it’s a simple yes or no, what’s so hard about it!! what do you mean by “I don’t know”? Did you leave your brain in the dish washer today!!

When in doubt, I trust my instincts.

Big decisions might be horrendous to take and tend to freeze our brains, but with little guidance and help, everything will be sorted.

Well, I use “I don’t know” as a “No” to prevent offending someone’s intelligence. And they always know that it’s a “no” in disguise.

Some people claim that it’s the result of considering all the possible outcomes. Well, you do that and even think of worst case scenario and make up your mind with a decision.

Well, next time you bump into one, hand them a Nike sticker with “JUST DO IT” slogan.

I can usually make the decision almost instantly, but I mostly always like to think 2 times or more about something, I rarely ask though, unless mostly it involves other people.

N: don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing wrong with asking friends for a second opinion. It’s when someone continuously questions every decision and every advice that it gets a little overboard!
