Curiosity..
Most of us have stat-counters installed and a lot of people check those on a religious basis. I’m not one to check mine often, but every now and then I’m surprised when I notice that someone took the time to go through my blog - page by page! Now that takes a lot of dedication (or boredom!)
For those anonymous readers, thank you for visiting and checking out my posts. Do please leave a comment in the future.. why? Because, while I know that “Curiosity Killed the Cat”, although not quite sure how, we humans have our own share of the curious genes…

I’m not one to check on my stats regularly either. Like you said it is quite interesting and can be a lot of fun. You might want to take a look at Google Analytics, they give you tons of information about the people who visit.

N.: mashAllah 3laik.. ma madany i posted wila u commented!
i’ll check out Google Analytics.. hadn’t heard of it before. thanks. but regardless of how much info it gives you, you’ll never really know anything about that person themself or what made them interested in going through your blog.
i’m guilty of doing this myself to several blogs. guess i’ll start leaving a comment “I’m the one who just went through your whole blog! Cheers!”
just so they dont get curious.

lol, yeah.. I happened to pass by right after your post ;p
And yeah, there isn’t really a way to find what got people interested, but the information collected can you give you an idea. Where people are coming from, what links got them to your website, what keywords are used in search engines and a whole range of other useful info!

not bored, tired! read a few of your posts - the ‘homicidal’ one (3 sept) got me hooked. came here via your comment on Touche’s site, and to his from another, and another… Revelation: there are blogs in the Arabic world! well i knew there were blogs, just not ones with a ting of American culture or such superb prose (yours, N., estranged (kamiliya)). and so strange to hear enshallah and alhamdolellah, etc. in the middle of it all! i’m iranian in US — thought to curb your curiosity before you get hit by a bus (which i hear is how the cat got it!)
