Explanation Needed

Will someone please explain to a friend of mine the difference between “affection” and “attention“?Thanks!

    i think if there is affection then there has to be attention, but there can be attention without affection.

    searching the word attention on google gave me this result:
    a courteous act indicating affection

    so basically if ur friend likes u, and ur getting attention, ur also getting some affection at the same time, u just need to open up ur eyes a bit. :)

    (this is turning into shopa’s blog, shes the one that asks her readers to explain stuff, so if she reads this, i got one word to say : radaina? )
